I would strongly advise not attempting it.

In fact I would strongly advise all off-topic posters to limit superfluous posting. We see it happening and it's not making us happy.

I cant post from school, no classes where i use computers. And Lasareth, im not trying to do superfluous posting. Its just no one is on when i post in the morning or the threads i post in arent active but the current members that are on. Its sad cause i want them to be active, thus why i post in them.... i guess i just get on at slow times.

Hrm, just a curiosity, is there a way to not count posts in the post count? Seems to be if pwned got his post count locked? Not sure if its reasonable, but could you make the entire Off-Topic & The Absurd area not count towards post count? Then if a thread belongs here but isn't posted here, just move it here and have that reduce the post count of posters? Not sure that would be a "fix", but would at least knock off some of the superfluous posts, just not sure it would stay for long. No idea how easy it would be either, not to mention some of the threads here probably deserve counting towards posts...

And of course I'm thinking this for selfish reasons, would put me back ahead of my girlfriend.

And on the topic of titles, I think I want "Savio beat me to it" since every other post I start composing has an answer from him before I finish.

The post count lag was probably a glitch, as it immediately resumed and none of us was the wiser as to what exactly happened.

I'd like to be able to only make certain forums count towards post count, but I'm not sure if it's possible. It'd definitely promote constructive posting outside of the off topic forum

It's possible. Dunno how to do it myself, but I've seen it working.

If the forum does not like useless posting and spamming why do you guys allow the silly threads like the games? They provide nothing except to get your post count up. I understand the use for subjects not GW related but the games are pure fluff.

To simply delete them all would be unfair.

As much spam as it is people have fun here. We just don't necessarily want them to have too much fun

As for titles I just have to say that it's worth pacing yourselves.. once you reach the end you'll have nothing left to look forward to

Let us have our fun because i think the biggest veterans (ok some wander around other parts of the forums) come here to ''chat'' hehe i am not really looking for a higher rank atm its good the way it is right now.
